I was looking at the antenna as well. Either that or the guy went through a lot of trouble to get it right.

It's a bug-eye. The tail lights don't have the circle in them.

These are awesome pictures....Definitely the route i'm planning to take when I build up my STI.

Sleeper is the way to go. Avoids the potential negative attention from the wing etc from ricers and cops, makes it blend in to clowns that doesnt know the car and would be a jerk to you on the road just because you have a big wing and loud exhaust, but best yet keeps those that know something about the car guessing.

Teddy R himself said it..."Speak softly and carry a big stick"

There's no such thing as a sleeper STI. People have been modding the hell out of WRX's for a while now so most people figure whatever the car is (WRX or STI), it's not stock. But if I had one I'd definitely lose the wing. I like the look of 12secSTI's car.

I'm swapping my CGM trunk this weekend for a 2.5RS CGM trunk and shopping for a mines spoiler. It can all be traced back to the pic of the CGM car on this thread

I couldn't agree with you more. I don't understand why people think that just by removing the wing, they have a sleeper all of a sudden.

STi's are built loud and proud and I've only seen maybe one or two examples of people who have almost successfully "silenced" their cars. I've said it before and I say it again, I still have YET to see someone do something about the shiny gold Brembo calipers because THAT'S the thing I see people staring at the most when I'm in traffic.

True true, I think instead of sleeper, "stealthier STi's" would be better to describe the cars in this thread. A stock looking minivan that does 12 second 1/4's is a sleeper. Most people can see the STi without the big wing and know that there is something special about it.
