to be honest it was a lot of work to put the 2006 versions together, less than 40 were actually bought. however it was fun to create this and i think those participating liked the results.

i'll use this thread for submissions for next year's calendar. getting it done well in time for x-mass shopping.

details:

Requirements:
- 2004-2007 STi's only (this is not a WRX calendar ~sorry )
- ideal image format is 2300 pixels wide by 1800 pixels tall
- i will attempt to work with smaller size/lower res images but i'm not making any promises
- active IWSTI forum member - others need not apply, this is for us, not wayward transients

the calendars are 12 months at 8.5 x 11 image size. depending on the amount of photos submitted i will offer two versions, perhaps more.

the months will be either one car or multiple cars on the same month. i expect each month to not be a carbon copy layout of the others, i.e., different fonts, colors and themes will be used to compliment the photos.

i took a lot of time developing a balanced calendar for the 2006 versions. so even though you may love the pic you submitted i might not be able to work it into the format...so be creative!

Submission:
- photo(s) of your STi (no girls hanging their boobs over the hood either)
- (edit) more than one photo of your car in different areas or angles is better - don't worry about my email bandwidth
- your member name = forum name and 1st name & last name
- location or event relating to the photos
- indicate who receives or has copyright notice for the photo

Submit your photos to "marsavius (at) yahoo (dot) com" with the subject line "2007 IWSTI Calendar". PLEASE don't submit photos if you have not read this entire message.

SUBMISSION END DATE = November 1, 2006

i do not own your photos but i will not release them after they have been developed properly for the calendar. you will not be compensated monitarily for your photo submissions.

i plan to do a test calendar with submissions once i get 6-8 good photos. i need to have a good look at the quality of the calendar before deciding on the final designs for the pages.

fyi: some of the proceeds from the sales of the 2006 purchases were donated back to IWSTI. i was not trying to make a profit. but charging $1.00 over cost added up and i felt it appropriate to donate this back to the board. TRM 12.JAN.2006

I missed out on the 2006 calendar but plan on submitting some pics for 2007. Great job organizing and putting together the first calendar by the way. I must give credit where credit is due.
