These arnt my cars but this is a pic from the dealership while I was picking up some STi oil filters:

I thought it was a good compairison for 05/06. I also never really liked white STi's untill I saw this one. If it had gold wheels it would be perfect...

Default 2006 STi No Options! CGM!

Picked it up 4 days ago... currently have 59 miles on the odometer. I work at my house. I've been busy so I have not really taken it out for a "Drive!" This weekend, maybe we'll go up the coast a bit!
Next to it is my '02 WRX. Had it since new. NOW it is for sale!

Attention 2006 owners wanting to install an oil pressure or temperature sensor in your rear oil galley. You may want to reconsider. There is a hose in the way that causes some trouble.

'06 heated throttle body & Defi oil pressure install

Another word of caution to anybody installing a guage pod on their dash. The '06 clock module has the passenger airbag status indicator in it. If you don't reinstall the clock module and airbag indicator your "AIRBAG" warning light on the instrument cluster will not go out, and possibly (though not likely) your passenger airbag may not function. You can remove the clock module from the stock pod with 2 screws, then reconnect it to the clock harness and tuck it under the dash before you mount your guage pod. You might want to wrap it in foam and tape it down to something so it doesn't rattle around in the dash.

Looks hot DarkSti, what's your opinion on the fog lights? They weren't available when I bought mine so I never got a chance to see what they looked like on the car.

Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the forum!
I like them, havent had a chance to test them in fog, but just by turning them off/on while im driving, i can see a big diffrence. I also have really grown to like the look, at first i was 50/50, but now im 90/10 in favor. Thanks for the welcome

Wow man, I checked out your website. You really do a good job detailing! Oh yeah, and...

"I bought the car on Novemember 10th 2005. I traded in my 2001 True Blue Mustang SVT Cobra for it. ...I am loving it! It handles great and is faster than my old car."

I'd like to hear more about this!!

Haha Thanks for the detailing compliment.

Long story short, I needed a car that could carry a few tripods, camera bags, etc. It also needed to be able to go pretty much anywhere in snow, rain, dry what-have you. I also grew and was basically scrunched in the cobra. Even my friends said i looked like i was sqeezed in there. I even hit the steering wheel when i was turning a few times with my knee and just about crashed, i also was hitting my knee when shifting.

I went and test drove a STI just for kicks and was hooked. It was the first time ever my car felt slow, and it felt like I was in my moms Jeep Grand Cherokee space wise. So i test drove it once more, then came back the next week and as they say the rest is history
