Default ***PICS***My New RIDE BABY!!!

well it's not a subie but it's faster haha! i picked it up at the dealership about a month ago and have already put 2k miles on it. the sweetest bike i've ever driven! i had an 02 yamaha r6 and it was NOTHING compared to this.

this is a k7 suzuki gsx-r 600 black/blue(the best paint scheme suzuki has ever done IMO). it's brand new and i drove it right off the showroom floor. i walked in the dealership on the last day of march and it was sitting there and i said this is the one! it was $9500 brand new price tag. so i filled out all the financial papers, gave them $1000 cash, chilled for a few hours, walked into the "RooM" and signed the papers.

when all was said and done, i had a brand new gsxr 600 for $8k out the door! i talked them down to $8k OTD i thought that was pretty ingeneous of me but it was the last day of the month and it was an 07 so everything was workin towards my advantage. got a pretty good rate financing $7k and my payments are $109 a month w/ the extended warranty!

***UPGRADES*** i have installed some carbon fibre gsxr frame sliders and swingarm sliders as well. i also have the CF gsxr tank protector, gsxr valve stem caps, gsxr fender-eliminator, gsxr key chain, and suzuki license-plate bolts. also i bought vortex front and rear wheel stands. ***PLANS*** i plan to lower it 3 inches and have a complete race exhaust and power commander and thats it.

i picked up another route at my work so that is how i can afford it. also...the first couple tanks i filled up and got about 32-35mpg and then i made the first oil change(AMSOIL FTW) and started adding amsoil P.I. and now i do not drop below 45mpg and most of the time i am right around 50mpg. thats amsoil 10w-40 motorcycle oil, amsoil P.I and BP's 93 octane. all the cars ive had ive gotten extremely good mileage with that same setup. my 06sti gets 25.7mpg just about every single tank.

anyway, thanks for looking! hope you guys like it!

Its pretty nice. They threw it in for free, but it's definately nice when the tank is hot in the summer.

Which exhausts are you looking at?

I have a yoshi pipe and I think it sounds pretty nice. The best sounding by far though is the Two brothers V.A.L.E slip on. Search some of that on youtube.

Dont know what kind of exhaust is on that picture though.

I think they're like 500 dollars.

Should be a walk in the park to install though.

After being used to riding my R1 every day I would get on my friends 600 and twist the throttle full on. Im like waiting for the acceleration but it never comes? Why waste money on a pipe to make it louder when you could spend that money on a faster one! Just my 2 cents.

because not everyone wants or is capable of riding an R1

a 600cc is a very fast, and very fun bike.

Don't anyone kid you that.

This statement makes no sense to me. If you cant ride an R1 you shouldnt ride a 600.
