600's are more fun, IMHO.

It makes perfect sense, maybe you just failed english?

Wow.... SO you're saying EVERYONE! is capable of handling 1000cc ? come on man pull your head out of your ass, with your egoistic behavior. I've seen your post, you seem to do nothing but put down other members.

Trust me there is a huge difference between an R1 and R6

i think you will hear from a bunch of people that an 600cc bike will outdue a lot of 1000cc bikes in the twisties. but anyway ON TOPIC NOW!!! lol

thanks for the compliments. and in reference to not getting the 1000cc, like i said i had an r6 before and it was PLENTY of power.

i think i will be getting the Two Brothers V.A.L.E slip on exhaust for my gsxr. the sounds off of youtube sell the sound to me. and i had a full two bros setup on my r6.

RENNS i found out that exhaust on that other gsxr was custom made and i heard a sound clip of it and its probably the loudest thing ive ever heard. he told me hed make me one for $100 but i assume that it would hurt the internals a bit just running headers and a pipe with no backpressure???

Yeah, I'd go with the two bros pipe over the straight one... even though the vale probably doesn't have any more backpressure anyway.

0-60 on a 600 is usually like 3-3.5 seconds... quarter mile high 10s at like 130.

I just sold my gsxr 1000 mladin edition in october prepped and ready for ccs. If you know anything about performance about the suzuki gsxr the pipe to go with is yoshimura. Theyve spent thousands of dollars in r&d specifically for this bike. I mean if you want loud then get a freakn D & D and call it a day. Dont buy something because it just sounds good.

well i listened to the yoshi pipes and i don't like the way they sound. and since i am not going for performace, i WILL get one that i like the sound of. that is the whole purpose for me. now if i was going for performance which the bike does not need, i would definitely go woth the yoshi. thanks

You are right there is not much performance you can get out of a 600 but im trying to steer you into the right path as far as getting a 750 or 1000 in the future.

thanks! yah i can see having a bike for a long long time with the way gas is gonna be. so a 750 or 1000 may be in the future. i will stick to the 600s for now. plenty of speed and agility!

DGK... in your opinion, would you lower a gsxr6? i know it really enhances the look of the bike and ive heard that you can lean it a lot more. do you suggest it? if so, how low and what brand lowering link? thanks
