I love the first one. I think the shift knob one would also lookd really good in black&white.

Very nice shots. Would have been much better looking at a beach or mountain scene through the windshield, or maybe an open road, instead of a messy garage. maybe Photochop?

maybe even a little bit smaller depth of field on the shift knob pic as well?

looks great, you could try throwing some additional light into the interior as well.

Hey, how easy do you find it to use the new ipod style in a car? I was thinking of getting one, since i am sick of spinning my thumb on the wheel trying to get it to stop right where i want.

The head unit is a sony xplod middle of the road headunit from a couple of years ago. I believe it is a CDX-M8800. The unit is actually in it's open position and closes automatically when i turn the car off. It opens again when i turn the car on. When I got the car it didn't come with the remote so I can't take the fancy closed screen out of demo mode and it cycles through these goofy pictures and VU meters.

It's this one: Sony CDX-M8800 CD/MP3 receiver with CD changer controls at Crutchfield.com

It is an iphone, but same interface as the new ipod touch. I'd say it's not worth it if you are just getting it because you think the interface will be easier. On the old ipod I could just do it by feel. With this one I have to actually glance over at it for a sec to skip songs, etc.
