Default Flash light?

This was my first time, alot of the piks suck, but Its very hard focusing when its pitch black.

what camera are you using? if it's a p&s, then focusing will be harder than using a DSLR.

Not a bad first try though...keep at it!

Its a D40, the stock lens were doing better then the other ones I have..

I REALLY want a wide angle.

since you have a DSLR, make sure your subject has plenty of light so you can "pre-focus" then set the lens/camera to manual focus. make it pitch black again and then go from there.
