horrible attempt at HDR...plus, using a trial Photomatix FTL.

If you feel so tempted to us HDR, please adjust the tones and the curves afterwards. The palm trees in the last pic look fake as hell and the overall feel of each photo was very grey.

im a sucker for a red subaru but attempts like this need to be practiced.

thanks for the criticism ... i was being lazy and didnt want to photoshop the photomatix out ..

sorry about that ..

and ill definitely mess with the curves a little more next time ..

not a problem...thank you for taking it as criticism instead of a personal stab at you. People are liking what HDR can do to their images but fail to put in the effort to make them look good. I hope you keep trying so you can get the image to look like what you want it to look like...post up if you have questions.

well one of the reasons i didn't adjust it, is because the image is so big that it takes long, so it doesnt run real time.

so it took me forever to adjust .. thats all .. and the simple idea of the photomatix watermark makes me lazy ..

ill def. work on it though.

sounds like someone needs more memory in their computer!

not a problem...keep at it and you'll start to see your results improve over time. and as a rule of thumb with HDR images, especially ones like you're trying to do, underexposure is much better than overexposure.
