anyone painted their wheels themselves and had them on for an extended amount of time? thinkin about doing mine but wondering how long it will last. and how many coats would you use and did you clear coat them?

Here a couple from last from the summer '07.

FYI..........The wheels are powder coated a Hi-Gloss black. They were baked at a lower tempature for a longer period of time, to not weaken the molecular structure of the aluminum.

Home Depot lip (I need to better attach it with the scotch mounting tape, I used some indoor/outdoor tape that did not work very well)

Lip 3M 03616 Scotch-Mount Molding Tape with about 6 sheet metal screws

the 06+ sti's just dont look good wingless imo... if ya take the other wing off too, it be nice!
