Eric's 07 STI -HDR Wallpapers!

I took some quick shots of Eric's STI today and I thought I would share them with you by making some wallpapers. Eric's FP Greened STI went 11.7 @ 116 MPH at the Midwest Subaru Shootout

Looks nice. What numbers is it putting down? 11.7 is quick...and also is it using a TMIC?

If these are HDR, why is everything so horribly underexposed?

Also, you better change your signature and fix your post or pay for a vendor account before the mods come after you...

Those are HDR, however when I made them I did not go overboard with the adjustments as many people do so the picture looks good. I used photomatix with three exposures and I also layered the image sin PS with blending mode and made mask for the fade to black border around the pic...

Btw no worries about the signature, our vendor status is being renewed as we speak....

yea the hdr is not necessary for those conditions and is def not helping

i understand where you're going with this and I agree. the only way the HDR would help you is for shadows on the car and that can be done manually in photoshop. im just glad you didn't do the typical overly adjusted HDR type shoot.

Thank you. It seems that anyone who does HDR nowadays just cranks it all they way up so it almost looks like the watermark effect. I tried doing it tastefully so the image looks more balanced. I also agree the images look little darker now compared to how hey looked @ work. I will have to check the settings on my monitor.

i think hdr is great for white cars.

otherwise, you either have blown lights or ne definition in the shadows.
