Default Photos from SCCA National Championship Runoffs

I was told this car won nationals in its class (T2) last year.

The STi is limited to stock springs and sways but they can change the strut. THese are three way adjustable, bound, rebound and they are pressurized to increase the spring rate.

And some Legacy love.

Nice parking lot company - I was actually riding in the IS300.

The shots above were taken with my compact Canon SD600, I was also shooting with my friends D40 and should be getting a copy of the images tonight so I can post more up tomorrow. That camera has a much nicer lens and sensor

Well it took me a few weeks but I have finally worked up a few photos from the races.
Here is the T2 race with the STi mixing it up with some Evos, M3s, Camaros, Mustangs, an M3 and Elise.

A nice but shot! Man that Evo can peg leg.

This was a few of a series of photos I shot as this Z came spinning torward us (he was pushed).

This was in a different race but this widebody tube frame RX-7 looked and sounded beautiful.

Popping some flames.

Here are some cars we saw on our pitwalk. These guys are from the northeast and stopped through Chicago on the way down for a fresh tune on the dyno from AMS.

One of the finer Porsches from the weekend.

And another

The first time I have seen a F430, unfortunately I didn't hear it leave.

A mint BMW M, if I remember right this only had 16,000 miles on it.

And I saved the best for last.

those are some nice race photos there. I'm glad that ICY pheonix is still running sti's and I'd love to grab one, when they are not $11ty billion.

The t3 wrx shot was really nice

Yes, that lens cost more than the camera. I wish I would of brought a tripod so I could do some panning shots but I didn't want to carry it around all day.
