| Amateur STI Driver | I've been a Subaru owner since my first wrx back in late 2001. It was a 2002 WRB WRX and it was my first introduction to the world of turbo boxer 4's Sorry I couldn't find any old digital pics of the wrx, though I have a ton of photos at home. After driving my 02 wrx through the first 3 yrs of college, I had an oppurtunity to buy one of the first STI's that came to Pittsburgh when one of the original owners backed out of his presale. The stage 2 wrx quickly got converted back to stock and again I was a proud owner of a 2004 STI. Over the last 2 yrs of school ( I took a a victory lap at PSU) it served as my DD, auto-x car and my ski transport between PA and VT. I then left to work in China and Taiwan after graduating and had to leave the STI at home. ![]() ![]() When I came back, I was going through some changes with my job, location and various personal issues, and somehow in a lapse of clear headed judgement, I impulsively traded the STI in for a Toyota FJ Cruiser. I quickly started modding the truck with the fervor of my previous vehicles and this was the result: ![]() ![]() Kept the truck for ALMOST a year, and in Feb, traded it in for this. ![]() 500 miles later, the modding began... ![]() 5/14 ![]() Dialing in the height ![]() ![]() View of my Perrin catback and a glimpse of the Perrin RSB ![]() Closer shot of the rear, you can almost see where it mates to the Invidia Catless DP ![]() Mmmm, Perrrin Can's ![]() Prodrive GC-05F's courtesy of Scoopman ![]() ![]() Adjusting the rear coilover height ![]() And some last min dampening changes up front ![]() 6/1 PRODRIVES MOUNTED!! ![]() ![]() ![]() 6/3 Installed Brembo's this weekend ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 7/15 Parts start coming in... ![]() As of this week ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 11/19 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I threw my winters on the lgt today ![]() Dunlop Wintersport M3's ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This ad is not endorsed by this member. | Amateur STI Driver | I love it, similar performance and feel, yet in a subtle look. I was sick of constantly getting pulled over for an "illegal" wing and hoodscoop. One time a cop pulled me over in front of a Suby dealership and continued on how my hoodscoop was illegal and that it adds dangerous blind spots to the car. I simply asked him to turn around and look at the row of STI's and asked if the dealership should get tickets for their cars as well That shut him up pretty quick. This was back in 2005 when I had an 04 STI. |

| Junior STI Driver | Really nice set of cars. Seems like most people eventually upgrade from a bug eye to an Sti. I've been boggled as to why people aren't modding there Legacy Gt's!!!!! Really sweet job, ultimate sleeper. |

| Amateur STI Driver | There are a ton of modded lgt's out there, though I have noticed not as many are as vocal on the boards. legacygt.com has a pretty big following that seems to be growing. Many wrx and sti owners switching over to lgt's after a while. |
