wasn't a big street racer when I had the STi, but the couple memorable times it did happen were....
S4, early 2000's, not too exciting, from a dig, I missed 2nd so had to take time to get it in, and I still had the guy by a number of car lengths. It was a nice S4 tho.

5.0 Mustang, sounded like it had a built engine/exhaust (glubglubglub), 3 people in my car, 2 in the mustang, also from a dig, put probably 4-5 car lengths on him after he finally hooked up. he started realing me in but we shut it down around 90-100.

How about what did you get your *** handed to you by thread? How about some humility around here? (yeah right)

I lost to one AMG (my 06') and one SS Camaro (my 04') off the line (didn't launch both times). I've pulled on Vettes on the highway. Several of them were afraid to go too fast. I've had one heavily modded EVO 8 pass me (in my 04') and some ridiculous AMG pull on me around a long turn on the highway (my 06'). Don't race unless its wide open or we are the first two on the line. Doesn't happen too much. Boxsters, S4s, RSX-s, 3 series... all crushed off the line. I've pulled on some M3s real good to. I think they just had too much sand in their vagine.

Less dumb these days... less doing this. Time for the track.

I got killed by a friends big body AMG from a roll. I'm stock and would drop to a gear only to be swept up in seconds. Pretty much the only car that I got handled by.

Most end up backing off after too long, following me or doing blow bys. Since being stage 1 I've taken out several stock and modded 350s from rolls along with some stock and modded new Mustang GTs. A few s2000s too. There have been tons of 1.8Ts, VR6s, swapped and small turbo'd Hondas over the past two years that aren't worth mentioning.

2002 Corvette by a car length from a 50 mph roll to 120 or so...traffic!
Charger R/T was my closest race! wtf? lol

On a typical day, I seem to attract more than my share of s10's, rangers, minivans, large and small suv's, hhr's, trucks (both normal and jacked up hillbilly style) and 6 cylinder mustangs that like to either drive next to me or side by side with the vehicle in front of me so that I cannot pass. IDK, I guess the wing inspires them to "teach me a lesson" or something as I do not drive like an idiot especially with the kids in my car.

On the other hand, I tried to keep up with a Ford GT on the "twisties" next to my house, and there is a tool in a tiburon v6 that lives near me that frequently tries to race me on the same road....you already know the outcomes of each encounter!

Oh, late one night (midnightish), after work, the roads were deserted and someone in a 350Z with an exhaust wanted to race, I did oblige, and comprehensively beat him.
