I don't think you're in the position to call anyone a dummy.

Again, please stop PMing me.

Haha... I've still got my original window sticker from my SHO. It sold for $28k in 1995, what else do you got? The price has nothing to do with it (BTW, I paid quite a bit less than $20k for my 25k miles 2005), AWD is the BIGGEST factor quite honestly. I will not PM you.

Stop PMing me and proof read. It would help you get your point across instead of looking like a babbling moron who's emotions are causing him not to competely type complete thoughts.

Again, reading<YOU. I didn't say my SHO would walk over any STi, just yours (and mine).
Uhh, its still a Taurus. Granny mobile FTW

Dude its badass because everyone expects it to be slow as dirt and then you smoked them. IMO Taurus have a rep with grannys, so its even funnier when you smoke them.

I got behind a BMW one day going to work. I'm not sure what model it was as all I saw on the back was, 'Dunan 7'. And no it didn't look like the M3, but one of the bigger models BMW makes.

Anyway - we both turn on to this 4 lane backroad and he punches it. So I punch it as well but realize I'm in sport mode. The guy is pulling me pretty good so I let off. After about a mile I catch back up to him via him having hit a few stoplights.

Turns out he is also making the same turn on the last road just before I get to the office and he punches it again, but this time I remembered to set my throttle response to sport sharp a couple of stoplights back.

I was VERY surprised.. He didn't pull me, but I couldn't close the distance either. Turned out he worked for the same company as he pulled into the same parking as I did. LOL. I didn't meet the guy and I didn't go looking for his car to figure out which model Beemer it was. But nonetheless was very impressed b/c of the size of the damn thing and to see it move like that. He had to have well over 350 under the hood of that thing.

I'm usually a pretty laid back driver and most people would tell me I drive like I'm driving Mrs. Daisy. But sometimes I like to get on it a bit.

(nvm.. just saw a post about a guy whos dad's BMW Dinan smoked him. Never heard of a Dinan BMW before. Needless to say those damn things are fast!!)

Bap: Yea I'm pretty sure it was a Dinan 7 after having read a few posts. Sorry I'm probably not as up on cars as I should be.

And yes my 08 STI is stock. The only mods I've considered would be bolt on as to not void the warranty. The STI is my daily driver and my baby.

Yamaha: Yes, I'm in Colorado.

I'll add that I've had other cars test me, Saturns, Ford Expeditions, GMC Blazers, even a 350Z once who couldn't close the distance. A little romp on the throttle is enough to suffice. I was sitting at a light one day next to a couple of young guys in an older Porsche. Neither of us raced per se, but he decided to do a flyby once I signaled to make a left into my townhome community. Gotta love the instant courage when they know you aren't racing.
