IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2007 | I never meant this to be anything. I just wanted to compare MY two cars. Bas far as the road course, all I can say is I have taken a couple on video. No other speculation. There no need speculate who has th biggest ****, we are on an STi forum. If your buddy is smoking supercars, he needs to race in a 'faster' class. The supercars that would be at our outings were driven by good drivers of which one regular in a 900+ hp F40 was previously a F1 driver. PPIR was a fast track and a boosted SHO was well suited for it. I've got a few stories, but apparently many here can't take it. |

A race is a race. If you acknowledge the go ahead, you're racing. It is clear and has been for 20 years that the SHO is NOT a drag car. My car didn't get crushed on the road course, period. Go ahead and search up my videos on MySpace and you'll clearly see on TWO occasions that I'm not completely full of it.

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2008 | there are plenty of supercars you're stating drastic examples now. formula 1 drivers in 900 hp cars. come on get real thats just off the charts ridiculous. you were making the argument that the sho was better on road course at first than an sti. my argument is that the sho simply is NOT. anyone whos been around motorsports or even been to a few track days knows that power is not everything on a roadcourse. im not saying your car is slower up high than an sti. its not im not saying the 257 longblock is stronger. cause im sure its not. but saying the sho is faster on a roadcourse or bringing up insane cars or classes (which is not relevant) is downright ridiculous. honestly you got way 2 defensive of your project car. |

As for that car, I was giving an example. Most of the other supercars were just Lambo's, turbo Porsche's, Ferrari's, etc... On this course, the STi's ability to make better turns would not help it. Many of you are reading what you want in this as it's really digging into your skin. I know fully what a SHO is and isn't capable of, as well as the beloved STi (I do own both). My initial comment was racing my two cars up top as [I stated] from a roll would be a lopsided race. Honestly, reading comprehension is nearly non-existant here if it's not praising the STi.

You are the moron that could not comprehend which car raced who. As far as the rest, please stop stroking your own c0ck. You OBVIOUSLY are not a car guy. You're a young ignorant prick that probably had his parents buy his STi and have no idea what is involved when building up a car that isn't coming from as good of a starting point as an STi. Sadly enough, I think you and Darwin will probably meet soon. Last edited by yamahaSHO; 12-20-2009 at 02:36 PM..

Haha... I've still got my original window sticker from my SHO. It sold for $28k in 1995, what else do you got? The price has nothing to do with it (BTW, I paid quite a bit less than $20k for my 25k miles 2005), AWD is the BIGGEST factor quite honestly. I will not PM you. Quote:
Again, reading<YOU. I didn't say my SHO would walk over any STi, just yours (and mine).
