That sounds about right. Some guy in a stock looking/sounding C5 Z06 pulled up next to me on the freeway at about 60, just after I went Stage 2. He pulled me by maybe a half car (only went up to about 80-85).

yeah up high the vette will start walking even more. gearing and aerodynamics come into play alot.

If your not trapping around 120-130 mph you have no chance from a roll. From a dig You might get him in first gear but after that..... you know.

yup listen to bap^^ u dont wanna mess around with z06's period ur only stg2 even from a launch..ur gonna have to do a good bit more to take one down ..new z06? ur gona need big turbo..dom3..and up most likely..c5z06 u maybe able to get him if his only mod is exhaust..and intake from a dig...and ur gona need darn near all bolt ons.. and at least 20psi.. And this is if u run him in the street which is UR BEST BET! at the track they'll get all the traction they need off the line, then u dont even have a chance..goodluck tho

I ran my friend's C6 with a cam Z06 headers and full race exhaust from a 35 roll. He dyno'd about 30 more rwhp then a stock C6 Z06.

I brake boosted hard and was in front of him the whole time then he missed 5th...got locked out. Apparently its a problem with those cars.

His car has basic mods and its wicked fast....but I guess I'm just a week bit faster. I'd say at most I was MAYBE a full car ahead of him till 135-140ish although I'm pretty sure he would've caught and passed me had we gone further just because his car is so much more aerodynamic.

For some reason I can't remember if this was before or after I got my much better gearing or double synchro'd 5th gear which made me a little faster.
