I heard a mean *** Pontiac G8 GT driving down the freeway late at night, and I pulled up next to him and he revved it. I knew they were quick on paper, but it didn't end up being a good race at all. G8 had full bolt ons (intake, headers, exhaust). Weight + automatic = fail.

Mercedes Benz CLK500 AMG kill. My buddy hasn't had it for long, and we did a pull on the freeway, along with the G8. Car is a stock 5.4L, automatic.

Ran my buddy and his Nissan 240 a few weeks ago after I went stage 2. His best time @ the track two weeks prior was 12.79@108... not too shabby, and my friend is a good driver...his other ride is a 10-sec Supra that hits the strip twice a month.
Two runs from 35-130, and I had him by a fender each time. I was very happy with my car for being just an AP, TBE, and intake. It was very hot out, and it seemed like the 240 wasnt running up to snuff, but a win is a win.

yes unfortunately it did. originally thought it was a boost controller malfunction but later found that the wastegate stuck open and caused me to run 36psi on a stock motor.<<<<don't do that.
