That's because he was going on second honk or he'll jump as you can see on some races. The first two races were only fair because we both went WOT at the same time.

Both the EVO and M3 are my friends cars. I've added some more mods to the car which brought me to where I am now.

Before I got retuned recently, the M3 used to beat me by two cars on the highway. Here is a old video to show you.

Before I got retuned recently, the EVO used to beat me by 4 cars on the highway. Sorry I don't have any video footage of that race.

These races were just for fun. It was not about competition.

yeah he seemed to get you at the top. we cant always be the fastest. i love the boxer rumble...beats the sound of the evo and m3 together. I ran an srt on the freeway wednesday, he was real modded and once I grabbed 4th it was over, i pulled nasty . this ofcourse was not on any u.s. freeway...it was off in mexico

That M3 (or was it you?) Honk real fast.

The Evo was definitely a tad bit faster, but you could tell a major difference in his gain after the first two races.

I'm the owner of the Evo and want to clear some things up.....

I was lining up properly, we told stistud2k7 to honk but he started honking to fast beepbeepbeep. There were plenty of races were we started at the same time but the STI kept on missing his shifts...... I could hear the grinding from my car...... Not his fault I've been through that with my old trans.....

The first 2 races in the vid were actually the last 2 races.... He started nailing it from behind slowed down honked and went wot...... But as you guys can see he never pulled even while stealing the hit...... The second race was a 3rd gear 60 mph and I never got out of 3rd beacuse there was traffic and you can see me hit the brakes.....

We were both brake boosting but I had to take it easy on the brake boosting because the STI was having trouble hearing the honks......

I was brake boosting lightly, honking slow, giving him the slight hit in some races, and racing him from 3rd gear because he was getting locked out of his 2nd to 3rd shift.....

In some of the races I was waving for him to take the hit but they werent paying attention....

Most of the races didnt even go pass 100mph because of traffic or the STI would hit the brakes...... All the races were you see us putting 5+ CL's is when we got to hit 120mph....

Overall the STI has gotten faster but so did my Evo
