Good on you for taking responsibility for your own personal protection.

not to get more into this but if your that worried of your own protection than you must live in a bad area and maybe moving would help out

also if you do research most people who own guns and try to use them in a situation to protect themselves get the weapon turned back on them

Must live in a bad area? No. Anytime something happens, everyone says "Oh but we lived in such a good area, that could never happen here!" I'm sure Lancaster, PA thought they were safe because their crime rate was zero. The year is 2006, not 1956 - there is no safe neighborhood and it doesn't matter where you live.

As for your second statement, that is absolutely 100% flat out wrong and you have been very mislead.

I don't play around with my life.

I guess you were never a Boy Scout. "Be prepared." You don't have to be in a "bad area" to be attacked or have to deal with a violent robbery.

You have a spare tire in your car, right? Why? You'll probably never need it. It's only extra weight. What are you doing on roads littered with nails anyway? Maybe taking a different road would help.

It's funny that you mention doing research... I bet you've done none of your own, because you're making a statement like that without offering any evidence that might actually suggest that it's true.

Likewise .

I guess we're among the few people on here who realize that 911 is not our personal bodyguard service.

If you couldn't tell, this issue is very important to me too. When voting this is my #1 issue. I will not vote for anybody who is capable of taking away my right to defend myself.

Absolutely, it's disgusting and even borderline treasonous that there are politicians out there who try and revoke our right to self defense - and what's worse is there is a large contingent of people who actually vote for them.

I bet no one will try to steal your car, they will see that holster and be like "F**K! I hope this guy doesnt come out and see me stealing his car."

Honestly, I'd be afraid that someone would break into the car just to steal it??
