You seriously don't even have 15,000 miles?! Holy ****, what is the point of owning the car if you don't drive it everyday or at least more than 3,000 miles per YEAR? I have put like 20,000 miles on mine since last March!

i've got more than 5000 miles on the '08 now

Peleg, do you ever drive your sti where you'd need nav in order not to get lost?
it sounds like you just drive it around for fun every now and then.

a set of sways would be way more fun to drive than a bunch of audio gear that makes you not hear all the cool noises the car makes. or a nav unit that you'll never use. in all those 5000 miles, i may have used my GPS (on the phone) three or four times, while trying to drive to a place that i didn't know how to get to. not exactly a "fun drive"

Are you serious!?

It's not like you're garaging a 1964 v12 Ferrari or something. It's a Japanese Subaru WRX!

The point is that I like the car. I don't think I need to drive this car in rush hour and then let it sit in the train station, it suits me better as a weekend car.

I occasionally take it down to Highway 1 and I took it twice to SLO and twice to Santa Cruz, but that's about it.

I don't expect people to understand my whole thing with this car, I've gotten used to it.

Sometimes people call me and say, wanna come down to the Porsche meet or something like that, and I Just want to be able to hop in, turn the car on, punch in the coordinates and take off and then call them on the way without worrying about getting a cellphone ticket.

Just accept it as it is.

Point taken.

But I assure you, in 10 years, when you're rich and own a Bugatti you'll say to yourself: "I garaged an STi.....Lol"

More like a Skyline GT-R or another Japanease turbo car.

The only way I'd drive it daily is if I work for myself and work from home.
