I had a business lunch at a place called "Spruce", like the street, in San Francisco.

Very classy place to take your lady for dinner/lunch.

Just thought I'd share.

Now after my excessively, long lunch......., I'm sitting in a nice leather chair and chilling.

So hmmmmm that's about it.

Why not.........

Name of Restaurant: Spruce
Address: 3640 Sacramento Street, San Francisco, CA 94118
Phone: 415-931-5100
Website: spruce

Very classy place. The host was pretty hot (I should have got her digits, but was too hungry at that time) and everyone is dressed really nice.

As you enter, The place is divided into 2 parts: (a) the bar area with some additional tables, (b) main dinning area. There is also a small VIP area for special reservations.

The menu is very "focused", it's not very large on the number of items, but they are all great.

You get started with water, and this incredible bread/butter.

I really recommand the ceaser salad as an appetizer.

The lemonade I had was freshly squeezed.

Don't let the small size of the appetizer fool you, the main course will be a tad larger.

I felt like a cheeseburger and that's exactly what I ordered, it was very very good. My other workers mentioned the Chicken Waldrof salad was good, as well as the steak. The Halibut fish looked excellent as well.

We didn't have any wine, so I can't comment on that.

We did have the chocolate moose cake for dessert, well worth it!

Price per person (appetizer, main, dessert) = $50 or there abouts.

Not an everyday place, but maybe for a special occasion.

I volunteer. Are you footing the bill?

Speaking of your Evo, my Evo thing fell through after I made an offer just to get negotiations started and she disrespected me so that ended the convo REAL QUICK like. Dealership folks =

I am sorry man... its pretty crazy how attached I am to an object, but I would be very upset if I had to sell my car.

Peleg, nice review, sounds yummy. One quick question, and I realize that SF isn't known for its parking, but was there a garage nearby? It is weird that I never had to ask a restaurant if they had parking, until I moved up here.

i was thinking of more girlie type company.

hmm. last time i checked, disrespecting the person who is buying something from you is not the best sales technique. then again, i didn't go to business school, so maybe there's some economic theory of insult-the-buyer that works in a economy where the goods you are selling are difficult to sell for high value. [seriously that's plain goofy]

i called mitsu back, left a message. i think i am gonna let it play out. for me it is a challenge to see how low i can get them. maybe it's the attorney in me to try to negotiate the best possible deal. i cant remember the last time i was in an arbitration, so i guess this will serve as practice for me.

Nearest parking garage is at 3905 Sacramento St., not too far from the place.

I am itching to do some small mods this weekend. Do you think hardwiring my radar is an easy enough task? The only thing that would suck, is that I wouldn't be able to use my smart cord to mute it. Let me know some stuff you would recommend. Otherwise, I might end up just swapping my goldies on with the oem jack loool.

ps. thanks peleg. I think I might head out to sf this weekend to get out of bezerkeley.

the fact that they had a cheeseburger on their menu makes me wonder about how classy or focussed they are. i have never ever seen a burger on a "focussed" menu.

what kind of food or cuisine was it, or did i completely mis that in your review?
