They can launch well, due to weight transfer, but they haven't been thoroughly redesigned in so long. I am not sure about lap times, but in a straight line, I agree with J.

Btw, I just went a few pages back, sorry esq. I don't know if I would have had the patience that you had with your computer. I hope the computer guy can get retrieve most of your stuff.

NSX's are t3h shiet!!! Almost bought one that was so damn clean and nice, the one I talked about earlier with the Porsche 6 Piston Front Calipers. Came with 3 sets of wheels, all motor, made a grip of power and was tuned for the track mainly. Still a good DD suspension with the twist of the dampening screws all aroound a few clicks on the Comptech/Koni/Ground Control coilovers, some guy bought it for $21K it was a 92 fully de-badged everything made it very unique. Only thing to have any Honda Logo's were the valve covers, and manifold cover It was red and secks on wheels, anyways enough of that. I do however love the feel of accelerating hard in a rear engine car, sucks your calves back in to the seat and feels like a roller coaster launching you extremely fast.

I had the pleasure of riding inthe Comptech NSX, the ones in the posters and ads at Reno/Fernley CT S/C'd and all decked out, wicked fast. Also got to ride in the Single Turbo one as well, that was even faster. I even got to experience a 540* turnabout as we went 2 wheels off then back onto the track and spinning out of control, that was scarier then my 180* going towards the safety wall, thank goodness for gravel pits

thanks. i am glad i redid the work last night. the it guy is still working to retreive. he is a busy man so who knows how long that'll take. as for patience.. there's nothing i can do about it other than get the assignment finished. it is easy really. no debates. the comp crapped out, i gotta do what needs to be done to fix it. home life is a diff story. always a debate, usually turns into yelling. probably a tmi moment but to give an example.. a argument that turns into "then move out" moment turns into a "i'm not going anywhere" moment. there is much less turmoil @ work than at home these days and something like an occassional comp crapping out isnt gonna affect me too much.

back on topic, hopefully the it guy can retrieve my work email archieves... that may be an issue down the road.

Dude Gio you are bringing me back. I haven't heard about comptech in ages. I used to call comptech and was on a first name basis with Doug at Hondata trying to get mods for the accord.
How did you get those rides?

I am good friends with one of Comptech's sponsors, and he and I went up there fpr an NSX Track Day along with a few other cars as well. I was able to get my car out on the track, my friend who is a Pro Driver was able to beat a 03 M3 and a R32 VW with my mostly stock 03 Si. Only mods were Progress Rear Sway, and 17" wheels with BFG KDW's which I got for $300 My friend is an instructor as well, that was the pay off for being his crew chief and spending so much time building and working on the 98 Si K20 powered Civic that he and I put together, and also later on with the help of RedZone. I know Joe personally from CT, he used to have an EP like me So yeah a fun weekend with the NSX Owners in Reno/Fernley Fri and Sat night we partied like Rockstars!!! Well I didn't do too much Fri nite, cuz I had to drive Sat morning and day for my track day But Sat nite was a diff story, the good ole days of killing my liver, kidney's, and brain cells Very fun weekend, and that was my first taste of freedom and real speed as well

Jagstyle I need some help with ONR. My poor sti is so dusty! I know I can't get rid of the swirls without an orbital buffer but I definitely am not ready to swing the cash needed to do it right.

So, for ONR do you use the same microfiber towel for the whole car? I mean when you use the microfiber towel to take off the dust, won't it scratch the paint the next time panel you clean. Does the ONR have enough lubrication to not scratch, or will the bucket solution be enough to clean the microfiber towel. I just am not sure if using one towel per panel is way overkill or not?

Use the same microfiber towel until it gets too dirty that you don't feel good about using it on the next panel.

I used to do the entire body with one rag + two gallons of water + two capfulls ONR. it worked just fine

However these days I find myself using one rag + three gallons + three capfulls ONR for 1/2 the body. I like switching rags and water after doing the rear which is always the dirtiest section

Also, you need two drying towels. Initial pass then final pass. ring out the initial pass when it starts to get soggy
