The holes in the bumper are for the PA speaker I believe.

Yes, a few of them are still out there. They get retired after 90,000 miles or there abouts, then they go on eBay as demonstrated before.

The next thing will be the Dodge Charger. I'm very curious to see how much faster the charger will be than the Ford Crown Victoria. One thing is for sure, the Charger looks a lot more muscular and intimidating.

I can tell you that they should have put the 6.1 liter in the cruisers...they'd be sick.

I played with an RS4 all the way from Reno to Stockton this weekend. kept up with ease. We had some fun.

Police departments are usually revolved around 2 things:

A. Money.

B. Liability.

RS4's are pretty dangerous to mess with............

Sounds like any other business...

Yeah, the RS4 was just phenominal. We played forever through traffic. Many smiles and thumbs up from the other driver. Even had an 04/05 WRB in the mix near Auburn for a while: AWDDRFT plates.
He ran pretty rich though. I always knew when he was gonna' shoot ahead because he'd puff two little black donuts out of the tails-pipes and then slip away in the most fluid manner. (All the while staring at the Yellow Elephant glued to his bumper...LOL)

I'm pretty sure the CHP is getting the Dodge Charger Police package. Hopefully, they are going with

the optional 5.7L Hemi V8 rated at 340 bhp and 390 lbs-ft, a HUGE jump from the Ford Crown Victoria's 4.6L 225 bhp, 275 lbs-ft.

The 3.5 V6 standard engine is rated at 250 bhp, 250 lbs-ft, not enough to keep up with the kind of

enforcement duties they conduct on CA freeways. (I've seen that first hand)

The charger's curb weight comes out to 4160 lbs (R/T model). , which I believe is just a tad less than the Ford Crown Victoria.

0-60 MPH in 5.7 (way quicker than the Crown Vic)

1/4 mile, 14.3 @ 100 MPH, still faster than the Crown Vic.

Hopefully they won't explode like the Crown Vic does when it gets rear ended by a drunk driver. (Sadly enough, that happened on numerous occasions)

Keep in mind that they add another 800 pounds or so for the roll/jail cage, computer, radio stuff, and first aid and other misc parts that make up a police car, so yeah better then the Crown Vics.

to the clown driving the blue wrx, who decided to show off to his buddy in the passenger seat, by trying to cut in front of the toyota minivan, but ended up having his ass handed to him, and had to make his left turn from the right turn lane: NICE DRIVING ASSHAT!
