Nicely done. Add the 100-400 f4.5-5.6 IS lens to complement that. It's what I shoot most and love it. You may want to look into the 70-200 IS, that mey be a little more practical for your purposes if you don;t need the extra reach.

i'm going to stick with this lens for now, as i tend to shoot more at the wide end anyway.
eventually i'll get something with more reach, but i need to see how this works out first.

on a crop body like the 40D, the 17-55mm turns into a 27-88mm. so it's got a little bit of reach already

before i get a second lens i might just get a 1.4 or 2.0 extension tube. it'll work out pretty cheap, and then i'll know if that range works for me

Guys, I'll be picking up a new toy tomorrow. It is a 1987 BMW 325i. It is a white sedan and I got it for cheap so it is to be my mom's daily driver for awhile and when we can get her a convertible bug, I'm gonna turbo the Bimmer. I'll get pics up when I can. It is really nothing to look at as it is old and needs a lot of work, but hey, it runs.

Picked up yet another ehaust a Borla XR-1 for $200 along with giving him my 05 STi cat back as well I liked the black section of the muffler of the STi cbe too Well I am guessing it was from a 05, not sure got it when I sold my Apex-i / trade for STi cbe as well. I will be installing it tomorrow morning, since I am not home I am in SC at the moment. Gonna go ahead and clean it up real quick and hopefully make some noise.

I drove my car around the block, which is a circle type street with 2 hills to choose from to go up towards my house, man did I get some dirty looks from the neighbors It is so much louder then running open dp with cats, almost felt like my old dragster mustang I ran a while back, Anyways I guess I will be posting some pics of the piiping and installed look as well. I wanted to stay with something that looked somewhat stock, hopes this does the trick. It came with both the 2 1/2" and 3" adapter I'm usingthe 3" adapter of course Well bored again, and nothing better to do besides play with this new comp I just got from Fry's

In all of my frustration in putting the stock exhaust back on the other day, I stripped one of my turbo studs. Tomorrow, I get to go buy a new stud and ut and try to back it off so that I can put my RS*R back on. That made my ****ing day!!

Just got home, threw on the rear two hangers of the XR-1, just so I could avoid bringing it into my house Anyhoo spent about 15 minutes cleaning it up, could use some metal polish to spiff up the tip, but it looks great just hanging on for dear life right now. From the looks of it now in the dark, it seems pretty stock, but I know the sound is going to be a lil extreme Yay for un-catted Stage 2 yee!!!!!
