me too.. would love to see dyno graphs too. i have no idea what exactly this would do.. but i assume doing this, if worth the effort, wont throw off anything regarding my tune.. so i am guessing this is a no-tune necessary mod... just a plug and play... i am now watching this too...

so uhm... i did a litle experiment on my way in to work this morning, as traffic was light, and i was not in a hurry.

short version: want to save some gas money? drive the speed limit!

for those who don't know, the '08 comes with a little onboard computer that calculates your average gas mileage.

i reset it when i was on the freeway, going 70mph, using cruise control.
i drove it for 8 boring miles like that. average mileage : 21mpg on the dot.

i reset it, slowed down to 65, hit cruise again.
5.5 boring miles later (i came up to a congested area, so the experiment ended right there) i had an average of 27mpg!

and there you have it nothing new basically

i tried the stay out of the boost method... odd thing was that i saw a bump up when the meth was added... initially... the past couple of fill-ups, i seem to be back to where i was pre-meth in the mpg category. hahaha i wonder what that means....

Yeah I'm skeptical right now. I'll let flatthump try it. He datalogs and self-tunes in his driveway. He is also super-anal about his car so if it causes any kind of shenanigans, he'll let us know in a very loud way.

So there we go. Shoot. the rubber-booted push-in breathers for V8 valve covers would likely do the trick.

This idea is SO RICEY...I am so excited!

I can see it now...JDM 3-butterfly scoops for your oil cap...

Same here. But, a blinged out chrome oil-filer breather setup would be SO RICEY!
