believe it or not, gf is passed out on the couch through the window rattling... i guess it is time to drive whilst drunk... ps3 style of course.

Checked out a wine bar and a restaurant called Tuscany here in Napa tonight... Both were awesome! We heard this live band that played everything from jazz to Buffett (my fav) surprisingly good pricing too. Had some great wines (many flights tasted)

I'm sure I'll B**** about my headache tomorrow

Man, what a long day. STi maintenance is done.

Replaced the rear diff fluid, replaced tranny fluid, replaced engine oil and replace the coolant.

Found there was a small coolant leak due to a cheap clamp on a hose on the right side of the engine, so we replaced that.

Also found the dealer put 6 quartz of oil in my car instead of 4.8, so needless to say, I'm done with them. I switched to Mobil 1 10W-30.

Now for the gauges, man.....so much work.........we ended up not splicing anything at all. We came up with a solution where we hooked up the wires to metal leads and those went inside the clock's harness. My friend Pat did a really great job.

The WRXtra galley plug kit didn't work. We removed the stock galley plug underneath the intercooler and tried to install the supplied galley plug. It didn't seem like it was threading very well, so I decided not to push things and will go the oil sandwich adapter route.

We did wire everything, so all that is left is to hook up the oil press sensor and attach the wire that we routed alone the firewall. AGain, really cool stuff, we got some black plastic shielding for it. He ended up testing the wires in the clock harness with a tester to see which one is which, while switching the headlights on. So there was no confusion about the white wire.

My friend Pat is a retired Toyota mechanic with tons of experience and he worked on Subbies as well. Not to mention the collection of tools he has. For instance, he has this tool that you use to get radiator hoses back onto things, so we used that to get the IC Y pipe back on the turbo.

The Maddad wire kit although nice, wasn't used at all.

If anyone needs a case of Subaru OEM rear diff fluid, I got one. I bought 2 for the hell of it.

That's all for now.

Time for sleep!

The boost gauge works great and I'm really thrilled with it.

Just when I do want to drive my car, my landlords's g/f parked her car behind me in the driveway and took off to SF.

Great...............

what does it say on your ticket exactly? i can tell you what you need to have done if you write the exact things you can do for each situation.
Tracy has the ticket right now. I will try to get it back today and get back to you. The CHP officer told me that it could be signed off and the boxes next to what he wrote were checked with "correctable."

However, I got the notice in the mail and it says that I have a MANDATORY court date on the 15th.

I hate to sound like a dik, but that whole EWG gig just makes un needed noise and attracts more attention from ..........my .002 cents.

Alright Kit, 27156(B) - Disconnected/no smog device
27150(A) - Muffler must prevent noise
So how much trouble am I in for?

Peleg, I like the fact that the ewg yields more power, and holds boost longer. It isn't as loud as you would think, especially with my already loud exhaust.
