He said that it is just a fix-it and can be written off by another cop. If I have to go to the ref, I'll be pissed (and screwed).

Tracy said he knew some cop guys but didn't get it signed off and I'm out of time.
FWIW, I used to know some cool cops when I worked at the gym but I think I'm SOL on this one.

if its a fix it ticket without a state ref requirement you can get it written off by another cop.

The only time its a state ref is for smog/loudness, if its for loudness you wont be required to pass a visual, its just them sticking a dB meter at the end of your car. If you have a heatshield on your turbo it might help with visual on the EWG.

what does it say on your ticket exactly? i can tell you what you need to have done if you write the exact things you can do for each situation.

i got a modified exhaust ticket, what he has(from what it sounds, you probably know more than me) is that it was a "fix it" for me too, but there was no way I would take my car to a cop, because many various things are illegal here in sunny cal soo...i had to go to ref, and he inspected the crap out of my stock car and then it was back to wrenching

i just dont know what to think about what i saw today... i thought i had seen it all from living in nyc and here. but i was definitely wrong. i guess there is always more odd things to see.

gf and i went to target to get paper towels, etc.... so we are walking around and come to the outdoor furniture section. sitting in a chair close to the main aisle was..... a woman breastfeeding her child. i mean it wasnt like she was hidden at all, clearly out in the open. and the woman wasnt discrete about what was going on at all. her entire shirt was way lifted up so far that you could easily see the entire thing (if you know what i mean)...

wtf??? is it normal to say to yourself, "hey, this chair out in the open with lots of foot traffic would be a great place to breastfeed. let me lift up my entire shirt and get to it."

am i the only one that is kinda ewwww about this whole thing?
