don't have speakers here at work. so i'll need to have a look at it when i get home.
although i think that it was traction control that i felt once.

anyway, there's a button to turn everything off, so, i don't think that i need that box

Well I just hit 40K last week on my car. I do however have 18K on the tires that most people never really get more then like 12 to 15K out of to my knowledge.

from what i've read...there is no way to turn off all stability controls in the new STi, but i am not positive on that

edit, no you're right

edit, no you're right
push button once = ALL OFF
hold button for three seconds = traction off, stability on

Try driving like a lil girl in the corners, but only going 120 mph+ everyday on the freeway for a few runs. I've done donuts, played off-road in dirt, and done a few back country roads, but nothing too devastating. What can I say my own car scares me with the ability of the traction and control throuogh some of the twisties around my place. Tires have a 2 to 3K miles left I am hoping for All this time I have been wanting them to wear out so I could get some RT615's but the damn things keep on going, so until it happens. Oh yeah I tend to rotate the tires every 4K miles too if not sooner if they look like I have worn off the sides a lil too much.

Yeah biggest mistake ever to buy a used 04 STi, I ended up having to replace the passenger side brake caliper. At the time no one had a front set available on i-club or here either so I had to buy a brand new one for $600 yes for one freaking caliper. Took it in to have rotors turned, and came out with a $1,000 repair tag instead of a simple $300 rotor turning and brake pad install job. I do <3 my car, not the most eco ride but boy are they quick even stock.
