^^ Retro to a 22b would be freaking awesome

I just got an email from a local stealership and they are going to markup the sticker but they havent determined the markup amount yet. Needless to say I wont be getting one because I refuse to pay over MSRP.

I'd make the wife trade in her SRT-8 Charger if they came out with a "retro" 70' Barracuda...
The Challenger is kinda'...meh...okay. Not an aggressive enough design for me.

Absolutely love that car. Has a front SLA suspension with tuned Bilstein dampers and Brembos on the SRT-8. Also comes with excellent seats and a great stereo system. Amazing how the Americans can figure that out but Subaru can't for a car costing the same amount.

When I bought my wife's Jeep Liberty a month ago the dealership had a orange challenger on the show room floor. the car looked amazing but not for the 60k pricetag minimum that would allow you to take it home. the interior and exterior looks great but the only think that I dislike about it is that hugh weight number.

60K price tag??? Pshhh... hell no. A 4100 lb car that gives you 13/18 mileage with 425/420 power? Not my thing at all. Even despite the horrible mileage in today's economy you still couldn't find me near that thing.

Personally, I think nothing will ever match the beauty of the challengers/chargers/and especially cudas of the muscle car era.

I have the four-door version. They are absolute beasts. Big, giant, heavy, loud, comfy-like-an-old-couch, RWD beasts.
The STI runs circles around them.

I can average 22mpg at 80mph. The Charger SRT-8 has the engine control that shuts down 4 cylinders to save fuel. Not sure if the Challenger will have it. (Not interested at all.) The Charger is definately my road-trip car though. It beats the STI in the comfy department, gas-mileage, and luxuries like a TV for the kid and heated seats and crap.
