Default Pro Charger carb build.

Does anyone have experience with centrifugal superchargers with carb setups? My old man has a bracket car with a built slant 6 he is thinking about running a pro charger on. It has a offy twin carb intake and two Holley 350 cfm carbs. He has plenty of fuel pressure in reserve to meet the demand but I'm wondering with the extra pressure over standard 0 vacuum if the pressure would pull too much fuel out of the jets cause it to dump way too much fuel under boost.

I built a 496 with a twin-screw charger. It's been a while so I forget who I dealt with, but I got a custom Holley built for it, it was customized quite a bit for the application including a vacuum port so boost pressure was referenced. Honestly, I don't know or remember exactly how it worked but you're probably right that a mod needs to be done to take boost into account.

I have to say though, a custom carb might be a good way to go... my modified Holley was incredibly good and worked absolutely perfectly right out of the box. Well worth the extra few hundred bucks!

I'd go for custom too. I don't know if the boost curve is linear but a custom carb builder would know and would know how to tune the fuel flow.
