Nameless Performance makes a muffler delete axle back that sounds amazing and has no drone.

I'd imagine it wouldn't sound that different on a hatch.
I noticed they offer three muffled options which seem like pretty cheap options for those who want sound without paying out too much money for one of the more expensive CBE's. I haven't been able to find a single sound clip with the newer 4" and 5" dual-muffler ABE's, though.

from what I understand- the turbo itself gives enough backpressure so anything after it is just a restriction

You want a large pressure ratio across the turbine wheel, the lower pressure you have after the turbo the faster your spool will be and the turbine itself will operate more efficiently. Combine a free flowing turboback and a shitload of massflow and you have a pretty nasty beast.

I just took off the washers on my Z. Although my in cabin CO detector never went off, I feel a slight burning in my eyes, which is a symptom of being around CO. Like a few Have said, not worth the risk, or the time to measure accurate CO readings. I'll just be being buying a CBE instead.

Proving once and for all that this is a completely moronic idea.
