New GTO 6L with good driver.. :)

Hi guys,
Long time no post over here. Anyway, yesterday going back home after a long 12 hours of work, I was stopped at a light and noticed a blue GTO a couple of cars back. I paid no attention and thought "another old guy on a GTO", since that's what most GTO drivers around here are. So the light turned green and I took off normally. I looked on my rear view mirror, and noticed him passing cars and within a couple of minutes he was behind me.
I took the on-ramp pretty quickly (as fast as my winter tires would allow) and noticed he kept on my tail the whole time.
I stepped on it and he was gaining and getting next to pass me, but his lane was about to end, so he backed off. We continue to play for a while, and he seemed to always manage to pass me. I was like WTF?? So when I got home, I jumped on the net and found that the new 6L GTO has 400Hp!! No wonder I couldn't keep up. I was impressed while driving against him because I've beaten many of the other GTOs with the 350hp engine.
Anyway, it was a fun run, and I wonder if anyone else has had a chance to run one of these?
The guy was pretty cool BTW, he waved and gave me a thumbs up when we went our separate ways

Oh, my car is all stock with winter tires still on a worn out brake pads

I haven't even seen a single GTO on the road yet.

Very few here either. Everytime I do see on, it's like you said, an old person.

I have a friend of mine with an '04 who I've destroyed on a highway run and a friend of mine with an '05 who I haven't had a chance to run yet, but am not too timid of doing so....just waiting for the right time.

I'm sure i've seen a GTO but probably had mistaken it for a Sunfire.
