Default Having a pregnant girl in the car

So I was joking around with my girlfriend about not letting a pregnant girl in my car during her 3rd Trimester cuz I don't want her water to break in my car. She says that it's really mean. Other than the fact that it would be really gross, would you guys think the same way?

I can't be the only one who would do it.... HAHA

my wife did not want to ride in my car when she was pregnant.
and when she did (taking a fun drive up a very twisty mountain road). she made me turn around halfway. she was complaining about getting sick/dizzy/headache/backpains

it's not the fear of water breaking... but firmly sprung cars and spirited driving are not really comfortable for pregnant women.

+1

i would be more concerned with the stiff ride causing her problems more than her water breaking (that would be some pretty damn bad timing). either way i would go with that reason cause it will cover you from having to say the mean one, lol

I wouldn't really want my girls water breaking in my car either.

HOWEVER

If it broke on the front seat, I'd use it as an excuse to get a new set of Brides or something.

in case youve never seen the actual volume of amniotic fluid we're talking about, think replacing the seat AND the carpet.

wait, is your gf pregnant or was this a hypothetical disscussion? Cause if she's pregnant, and you wouldn't let her in the car, that is some cold blooded ish right there. But if it's just hypothetical, I say you can never be too careful.

I know, I could deal with cleaning the carpet but why pass up the oppurtunity to beg for some seats...

No she's not pregnant!!! It was just a hypothetical thing. I have a lot of random thoughts that go through my head during the day....

You just took us to a dark place my friend. I applaud your efforts.

As far as joking around with a pregnant woman in the car, I would do it unless/until she actually started feeling ill then I would stop. I have seen too many really pregnant women at the gym bouncing around exercycles and stair masters to assume that being pregnant puts women in all that delicate a condition.

i would let one ride in my car, even though it might be too bumpy of a ride which they might not like. our cars aren't that nice and it gives me a excuse to get new seats, and she would be in the right car to get to the hospital in no time.

My wife's 19 weeks pregnant now and doesn't like riding in the STI. It's too bouncy for her. I guess that's how people feel when you sit on a trampoline inside of a car!
