I am not a gun hater -- just playing devil's advocate here:

I have no doubt that more people die due to doctor error -- it's just makes sense. Not everyone has a gun, just about everyone has a doctor (the pamphlet makes the same argument). If the reverse were true, the numbers would likely be a whole lot closer.

Also keep in mind, that a lot of people who see doctors are very ill, and while the doctor may be responsible for their immediate death -- they may have been on their way out anyway.

One final issue with your argument is the term "accidential death." I'd like to know the statisics on all gun deaths (i.e murders). That statistic alone would probably change the numbers a bit.

Funny stuff. Not sure I'd trust the statistics though (remember, 79% of all statistics are made up on the spot). And like Pskull mentioned, accidental death is a broad term. What would happen if you compared it to all deaths caused by guns?
