exactly... VSGT...

basically prerunn the Edge Juice w/ Attitude is a piggy back programmer that plugs in between the injector harnesses, map sensor and such. It comes with 5 levels stock, but you can get the "hot" unlock code from Edge for an extra fee. In my case they were running a promo and I got it for free. It's good for about 100hp and 250ft/lbs.

The BD pup is a shortened name for the Bully Dog Power Pup. It is similar to a Cobb AP as that it flashes the ECU. It's nice because I can adjust for tire size and bump up the speed limiter. Also it is internet updateable.

The shimmed fuel release valve is just a way to get a bit more fuel out of my stock fuel system. The stock valve pops at around 24,000psi which means it "prematurely" dumps fuel back down the return line. I shimmed it with some washers so that the spring doesn't pop until roughly 26,000psi. Fuel is everything when it comes to diesel motors, so something simple like that can make a big difference.

yeah eventually I'll get the Airdog 150. My truck actually needs it, I'm already running out of fuel.

Looks like fun times. We normally are out there atleast every other weekend. We go out to camp and ride our atvs. I've got a 07 GMC Duramax with a 6" lift and 35's. I tow out a 30' Thor toyhauler.

Hope you rinsed off your truck after running through the water. We do everything possible to stay away from the water. Your truck will rust real quick with the salt.

thanks for the reply, i had figured it was some sort of tuning mechanism and that's awesome you can shim your release valve to get more fuel pressure, and i know that with diesels fuel = power. how much h.p. (or torque i guess is more applicable with trucks) is feasible for the stock turbo on that cummings if you take advantage of every other mod possible? any thoughts on propane injection or anything of that sort in the future? also what kind of mileage does it get with those kinds of mods? (with diesel approaching $6 per gallon around here i'd be hesitant to leave the cars in a cloud of smoke at every light) sorry for all the questions im just interested in that nice assed truck you have there

gtturborex - sounds like you have a nice rig! dmax's are def some nice trucks! and yes I pressured washed the whole truck when I was done.

prerunn - right now the truck hits anywhere from 15-17mpg around town and 19+mpg on the hwy. So it's not too shabby, as far as doing any more mods I'm good off of this truck. I have accomplished the power and mpg that I was aiming for and I'm satisfied. It's sitting at about 450whp and 1000ft/lbs, so it's plenty. There are many other possibilities to extract more power, but realistically unless you're drag racing or doing sled pulls there isn't many places to use all that power. Later down the road I'll get some new wheels and tires and maybe a built tranny once the stocker starts hurting.
