Your problem I think is caused by the fact you don't have the codecs installed to play the avi file using your current media player. So to resolve this you can do 1 of 2 things, first option is to download a codec pack (Free-Codecs.com : Download AVI Codec Pack Plus 2.8 and Lite 3.2 : A collection of codecs provided by Streaming Media Tech) however I cannot vouch for this particular codec pack I have downloaded other codec packs from the same site and they have given me no problems. The second option is to try and download media player classic which is what I currently am using and works great and that can be found here: Free-Codecs.com :: Download Media Player Classic 6.4.9.1 : Media Player Classic is an enhanced version of Media Player 6.4
