the fact of the matter here is they saw the violation when you were on the roadway. as far as issuing a ticket for something that originated while you were parked in your driveway, now that is a different scenario that would probably not fly in court

a non-vehicular offense that happened in plain view would be a different story, eh?

That could be debatable. If it can be proven that the other car ran the stop sign then there will def be liability on that person. It depends on how far away the OP driveway to determine if he truly FTYROW (failed to yield the right of way) to the other car. If the OP saw that the other car ran the SS and still pulled out the majority of liability may be on the OP. Really it could go either way.

Thats the point i was trying to get but i guess i typed wrong.. its one of those things you have to be there to describe..

isn't typing FTYROW and then "failure to yield the right of way" redundant?
