I read somewhere the 100kw version will do 0-60 in under 5 seconds. Hell, even the "slow" one looks like a whole hell of a lot of fun, not to mention getting 100mpg would be sweet. They'll even be offered with stuff like navigation. If these come out for under 30k they'll sell like hotcakes.

Not true, there is a company in Southern California developing one as well. I can't remember the name of it now but it was significantly cheaper than $40,000, and better on fuel as well.

dunno, check their website. it has info about it possibly coming to the states. and at this point with gas prices rising (and never dropping back down), these things would sell like hotcakes if the price wasn't unreasonable.

The VentureOne is being built in Cali and will be sold in the US. I read something that said they'll be priced in the 20-30 range depending on what model you get.
