I enjoyed both Sin City and Kill Bill, but this movie didn't hold up to the hype. I'm sure there are many other movie reviewer-type cliches I could use, but you get the point.
agreed. I saw it a couple days ago with a couple friends and there were times when it was unintentionally hilarious just because of how stupid it was.

the main charecter was unbelievable as a badass (he may have a whole new outlook on life, but I could still have kicked his ass). and please don't try to convince me that someone could jump through the window of one building, across a downtown city street into the window of an adjacent building, just because they're in really good shape. also, said person would not be able to run fast enough to create a slipstream behind him capable of blowing papers off the desk thats in another room as he runs by the open door. I won't even get started on the whole "bend the bullet" crap.

Every single move the film took was predictable. Even most of the physics-defying effects were predictable, which is really saying something, since things that defy physics, by their very nature, are unpredictable.

EDIT:
Also, just another annoying thing (though I won't hold it against this movie, since almost every movie with a car-chase scene has this same flaw) since when is a delivery truck exactly as fast and as maneuverable as a viper? I'm tired of the same-ol chase scenes with a beat-up car that was commandeered on the spot vs a high-end exotic being depicted as though getting away in a car thats easily 3x faster is in any way difficult.

Obviously the movie isn't supposed to be realistic at all, it's just supposed to be entertaining to watch. If you went into that movie with the attitude of "oh that can't happen in real life" then you missed the whole point of the movie.

I thought the movie was pretty good. There were a lot of intense fight scenes with good action.
