Well I'm halfway done today only 2 more months to go. I may even make turkey day. Qatar sucks, lol. Not so much the base but how it's ran. I hope you guys haven't forgotten about the crewchief! I may not own an STi anymore but I'm still a donating/contirbuting member on this forum.
I ended up missing my next rank by only a few points. I will DEFINATLY MAKE IT next year. When I get back I will have enough to purchase my z06. I found a black on black 06 Z06 with 2300 miles on it for $50k. Instead I will be purchasing a house and the z06 is going to have to go on the backburner once again. I'm 24 and I can't keep spending my money on toys, I have to start putting my money into assets that make me money. In good time I'll have that z06.

Minus the 120-130 degree temps and the 14 hour work days this place isn't too bad, lol. Should be back in the states the end of November. Woohoo 120 days to go, lol . For those of you that wanted an address this is my address over here

Got word a few days ago that I'm deploying to Al Udeid Air base towards the end of July (probably leaving the 25th). I'll be there till the begining of December so atleast I'll have christmas and new years when I come back. The money is going to be nice, they pay extra but having no bills is a plus. I'll be making right around $1k a week take home over there, and since I'm moving out of were I rent, turing off the cell phone, turning off insurance, leaves me with a tiny car payment (my 99 4runner). I'll bank all the rest . The downside is the tempeture over there sits around the mid/upper 130's, 12-14 hour days, working 6 days a week. I also have to leave my girlfriend and friends. No sex for 4 months is going to kill me, lol. I feel bad for my girlfriend when I come back . This will be my 3rd deployment since I've been a member on this forum. I don't think the forum is blocked over there so I'll probably be posting here and there during my time off. Now I will probably come back with around $8,000 in the bank (gotta finish those creditcards off ). I was $12,000 dollars in credit card debt in the begining of the year, by October I will be debt free . Not to shabby to pay off that kinda debt in a 10 month time frame eh? I planned on buying a C6 Z06, but instead at 24 years old I changed my mind more towards buying and furnishing a house. If I make my next rank I will consider the z06 too, but only If I make the rank (I'll find out if I made it in september). Anyways Just figured I'd share that good ole' Crewchief is going back to the desert to save the world again by fixing one C-17 at a time .
