I downloaded tha carter III a few days ago. It's not a bad album at all, but his style has drastically changed since "The Hot Boyz" era. I def agree he isn't the best lyricist, but I like him a hell'uve a lot more than Kanye or Jay-Z where MTV Jams rated Kanye #1, Jay-Z #2, and Lil Wayne #3.

true story, I'm drinking at a local dive bar with some friends and I see an old high school buddy of mine walk in, he's a small time promoter in Tampa and runs the local hip hop website, but he's not much of a drinker. So I say what's up and ask him what he's doing and he says he was showing Talib Kweli around Tampa after a local concert, and Talib needed to hit up an ATM, I look to my left and there he is grabbing money out of the machine. small world sometimes.
