^ dont be so sure that they will. Ive met some real characters who own STi's and I feel bad for the STi. Dings, Scratches, Brake Dust so bad that the rim looks like its Flat Black. Brembos that almost disapear behind the black rim. interior is another story I wont get into. lets just say it was nausiating. I literally said to the guy. Whats wrong with you!!??

Anyway. Of course theres always exception to every rule but Yes I do still agree with Chinky most people dont understand until they have one or have a car that they are truly take pride in and care for like a first born.

i kept my STi as clean and fingerprint free as much as i could.
i babied that thing like no other. even still i felt it wasnt as clean as it should be.
friends always joked w/ me about waving to other subies....they just didnt get it.
now they joke w/ me since i traded it in, haha.

everytime i met someone who had a dirty STi, or very unkept...i realize how ocd i really was. hahah
still friends didnt get it.

i hated it when ppl would slam my doors. one time my friend told this girl that my doors were really heavy and you had to slam it to close it.....low and behold..the gullible lil fun bags chica did so. and i got mad at her...mind you i only met her 10 min before. lol he thought it was hilarious.

Yes!!! even guys I know who own Subies arent this OCD as me a bout my STi
though I may wash her 1-2 times a week and keep her under a car cover whenever I can

You gotta love owning a subaru!! I get SH!T from the GF all the time for how much i clean my car haha. she always says i clean my car more than i even shave !!!
pretty much all my friends and family know that i am in love with my subie and they all know i'm OCD about it. +1 to parking miles away from where you need to be

i have no girl friend - so all my love is for my 2005 STi.

Lets say I keep my car so clean that rain has hardly touched the body of my car and I never drive her in the rain. I live 1 mile from work and so I keep my car garaged and walk to work as leaving my car out in the sun (no covered parking at work) for 9 hours seems stupid.

My co-workers make fun of me and say I must be one of the few Electrical Engineers who walk to work because I dont like to get my car dirty. So yeah STi forever !!

Yea i pretty move am in love with my car. Just got it and can never leave it alone. Don't wanna leave it parked anywhere without going to check on it every few minutes, If someone leans on my car I immediately tell them to get off. Clean the rims like every other day, damn brake dust. Always has to look decent. Always take the long way to get somewhere because I love being in the car and when I get somewhere early I pretty much just walk around it and admire it to kill time. Just sucha cool car with cool gadgets. Never had sucha connection before with a car like I do with my STi.

They never understood my love until I took them for a ride one day. We were driving on the freeway and a fellow subie Sti rolled up and we said whats up to each other. They thought that was the coolest thing that we say hi to fellow Subie owners. And I mentioned to my friend how shocked I was that she doesn't say what up to her fellow corolla owners!!!

The only thing I cant understand is the last owner of my car must have been one of those characters because he left a few scratches and chips on the front and rear bumper I need to get fixed from curbs and ****. Otherwise, my car is in excellent health. My owner still showed care for the interior, it looked brand new when I got it. Today is the first day Ive been without my car since ive bought it and am already missing it so much.
