Here we go:

Recaro seats seem cheaply made - evolutionm.net

It seems like the Evo 8,9 seats were better.

Some guys had ECU/CEL issues.........

mechanically speaking, the Evo X seems to be a huge disappointment so far.

And I bet mitsu wont warranty those seats.... Something about driving the car to hard and your body putting to much force on the seats making them split apart.

After my Vette the car I wanted was an EVO IX MR. After talking with several owners at the track and past owners at the track they kind of changed my mind. Case and point, pictures above. I mean, I did want a car with a warranty after all.

Why does everyone want to see the EVO X MR? They are slower than the GSR and only come in an automatic transmission.:t down:

I'm interested to see what happens with the MR. It doesn't seem like Subaru is having a really difficult time offloading STis. But if Mitsu really is having a tough time selling GSR's, I don't see how tacking another $5k on top of the price of one is going to help.

Also, slightly slower or not, the twin clutch gearbox setup on the MR is very nice. I doubt I'd buy one, but it is pretty trick.

Very nice for someone that doesn't enjoy driving. I'm not saying that it's not a better system. It just seems like another way to take the driver out of the equation.

Eh, I dunno... as long as the computer lets you bounce it off the rev limiter and doesn't shift when you don't tell it to I don't see it as a big deal.

Have you drivin any type of sst transmission?!?!?! They're boring, they really take the driver out of the equation. Why pay more for a sophisticated automatic transmission that is built by mitsu? I mean, I'm sure it's a high quality transmission that they will warranty when it starts to fail after 10k miles.

I haven't sat in a X but I have a IX. So your friend wants to buy a car with major paint problems, gas pedal breaking problems, no warranty from the factory, seat problems and on top of it all he wants to pay $5k more than the GSR for a sports car that is an automatic?!??

Does he live in Denver? I would like to meet up and laugh at his automatic track car. (He can laugh back because his car would murder mine around a road course but he doesn't need to know that.)
