Default Finally saw my first EVO on the street

I test drove the EVO 10 twice before getting the STi, love my car, but the EVO did look pretty badass cruising slowly down my street. Anyone else test drive one before their STI and was on the fence? I still have a soft spot for that sedan style, i have to admit, it looked rad. I cant wait to meet one at the track!

If he asks you to race him, tell him to make sure his gas pedal doesn't break off............

Saw a blue one yesterday, I waved at him and he looked at me all weird like do I know you? Anyway, the car looked bulky as hell and the back end is just terrible, I still say EVO IX FTW.

I agree, the Evo 9 looks much better....and the gas pedal didn't break when I drove it.

It may even get worse. From the looks of that thread over on NASIOC, there has been more than one incident of gas pedal breakage now.

I finally experienced an Evo test drive last week. No thanks, I'd buy another STI. I was all prepared to like the Evo, too, because it is much prettier than the STI is. But if looks was all I cared about I wouldn't buy either one . The STI is the superior car, again.

I was surprised too how bulky it looked on the street compared to the STI or older evo. Much different animal.

EVOX looks like too much body and not enough wheel/tire in person. Between the two new models I could live with the 5 door.

I wonder if the dealer would force you to pay if the gas pedal breakes off during a test drive...

haha, just be like oops the gas pedal broke, your turn to drive, not figure that one out. lol

as far as racing one, i know a guy who spent $800 on his gen x, and picked up 80 whp. problem is he needs a new ecu because the stock is **** and he can't use his 5th gear, so he tops out at like 114
