or Roberts going in to fight Datsyuk? wtf? I had a lot of respect for Roberts until game 2, between that shot at Franzen's head and the scruff at the end i think differently about him.

In my opinion... if the Pens have ANY chance of getting back into this series... its tonight!!! GO PENS! maybe the change of atmosphere... will create a spark... I surely hope so... or this series is OVER!

You may be right. I think the first goal tonight is the most important of the season. If the Wings get it, it will devastate. If the Pens get it, it will energize.

Given our habits, I think Detroit will come out focused, though the Pens will mount an onslaught. I have a hunch we may see Crosby kill penalties if things get desperate.

I definitely agree... the Pens haven't been beaten at home since Feb. 6th? something like that... if they get the mentality that they cannot be beaten... that may fuel some offense... but seriously!...

Can we at least score a goal!!!???

And I am really tired of hearing all this crap talk about Malkin... yes... he's probably pretty tired... and he could have hit 'the wall'... but why is everyone seeming to blame him for the Penguins lack of offense... (most reporters keep knocking him)... he carried our team the majority of the year... and yes... he needs to be there to help the Pens win... but its not his fault that they have not scored ONE GOAL YET in the Finals... all this talk needs to stop... the kid is 21 and he has been playing his butt off since September... time for some other guys to step up and get Pittsburgh back into this series... our teams success does not just come from one player! Although I would love to see Malkin have a breakout game and silence the critics... cut him some slack!

Here's hoping for a win tonight at the igloo!! GO PENS!

If he weren't a slough-footing *****, I would care. Until he stops doing that dirty ****, he can get hit by a bus for all I care.

And the lack of offense is obviously not his fault.

I'm saying if he played clean, I might respect him. Until he does, he's no more than a talented thug. Srsly. What's with all the little cheap BS?

Plus, he was quoted as saying he was tired. Tired? Really?

How come all of the "geriatric" Red Wings - who play in a much tougher conference - seem to be holding up fine?

He's 21 and has carried the Pens the majority of the season... he has played around a 100 games... and being his 2nd year in the league... he's not used to that length of play... me being a penguins fan... I... of course... don't see all the 'cheap shots' he apparently throws... but if he does... he's certainly not the only one in the league that does it... the league needs these players to make things more interesting...

what if i were to say that I thought kronwall was playing dirty by just sniping people out as they cross into neutral ice?? Like the other night when he left his feet for a hit on ruutu... i believe it was... just my 2 cents...

I still can't get around the fact that the red wings are completely destroying the Penguins... I'm not trying to make up excuses or blame people on other teams like the Flyers/ Rangers / Ottawa fans did to us... calling dives and stuff on Crosby...

Or like people have said about Osgood diving... I'm not gonna stoop there... the Pens are getting beat... in every aspect of the game... and I will fully admit that...

I think viewing the kid as a dirty player is a bit of a one sided view of things. Once he started to be big play maker at the end of the season and into the playoffs he has been getting nothing but cheep shots with few calls being made on them. I think he is simply reacting to what has been comming his way. The Flyers seemed to be really good for pulling cheep/dirty hits on him and getting away with it. I think a large part of his actions are simply action/reaction. Plus I don't see him as taking that many "cheep" shots.

The Tired comment really upset me when I heard it and the Media in Pitt really jumped on it. Then I think he made a statement saying it was a error in translation to english, which he still does not know well. Believe what you will. I'm not sure if I buy it myself.

I would say the wings are holding up better, if that is the case, because they have had more experiance dealing with the lengh of the playoffs. But when I made a comment before about them being old I was told they are not that old. So I don't see the difference then.
