I was at the track and didn't get to see the game. But I see they took care of things without me. Undefeated at home in the playoffs? This is a really good sign. In our *ahem* lean years, we've had problems holding serve at home.

I'll go watch the highlights, but man am I tired.

For the definition of lean years, see Chicago Blackhawks.

It's almost worse to win the President's Cup and then get bounced in the first round. At least, that's my opinion. If you're going to suck, be consistent. If you're going to rule, be consistent.

In that case, the Blackhawks have been very consistant over the last 10 years. And as you know, they haven't ruled.

Dallas is a VERY different team at home. It's going to be tough, especially if the Wings get comfy in the sinbin like they did last game.

I'm an Ozzie fan too.

Got my Red Wings hat at work too and I'm ready for the game tonight and its my birthday so they need to win for all the fans.

Understood... especially with Franzen out. I'm just hoping our "On Fire" status carries us thru a hostile crowd.. And I agree, we must cut down on the penalties... whats the word on the guy who slashed Ozzie? He's out I'm assuming.. That outta hurt Dallas a smidge..

Ozzie and Ribelo were both fined undisclosed amounts.
