With the exception of a couple of guys a few years ago who managed to do it in a jar in their chem lab this hasn't happened yet. At least not in any viable form that doesn't require vastly more input than output.

actually I think this is the beginning of the end for gasoline cars. I'm all for 100% electric either full battery or fuel cell. Forget the prius. Look at the "performance" electric cars they are testing. Already faster than the fastest porche 911 and they are just prototypes.

How much would you not love an sti with 350 lbft from 1rmps to 10000rmps!. No more stupid power-band curves to worry about and just 3 gears (if any at all) Having said that, I'd settle for seeing more diesel cars make it over the pond. imagine a turbo diesel sti with var-geometry turbocharger blades. sweet lord.

still a car with engines at the wheels with no gears that can accelerate the same no matter what the speed (minus drag) seriously appleals to me.

Not the PT cruiser convertible!!! J/K I swear before buying that car you have to have a zipper installed on the back of your pants. Anyways it will be interesting to see what they do to compete with the vette when they axe the viper
