I'm no economist, but this will do nothing to address the real problem. Only a "bandaid" to cover up the cut, not sew it up. Yeah, it will be great for that time being. But as US spends more than it produces, the economy cannot sustain itself. Read an article in the Atlantic a few days ago about how we are basically borrowing from China (indirectly) to sustain our living standards. Scared me quite a bit about our future....

Oh, and I'd probably spend it on mods as well.
