So I'm putting on a track event at PIR. It originally was a Ferrari and Lamborghini club member only event, but I'm not hitting the numbers I need. It's now opened to anyone, so I can let others know. This will be a much bigger event than whats been offered before.

This was originally intended to be a members only event, but due to a lack of apparent interest I/we are opening it up to anyone. Pricing was $495, but we've made a few adjustments, and are now offering the event for $350 per person.

The event is being hosted by Autosports which has a great reputation at PIR, and also hosts the Sunset Porsche/Audi Owner days and the Carrera Motors Owners days.

Summary of the upcoming Autosports day.

Classroom session - Basics of high performance driving. Will learn about brake zones, “the line”, proper use of eyes. Will include a bit of auto tech (F1/CC gearbox, ABS, traction control, etc.) and its use on track.

AutoX/Handling course - NOT your normal AutoX course, but one designed to emphasize car control. With both wet and dry sections demonstrating the need to adjust to changing conditions and thinking ahead. Some sections are designed to let people feel ABS activation.

On-Track session - High speed/high performance driving. 1 on 1 instruction with the same instructors throughout the day to ensure continuous driver development. This is where you apply the basics learned from the class room and autoX to the big track. You will have an amazing amount of on track time- approx 3 hours total of 1 to 1 instruction on the track.
On a case by case basis we are allowing people to bypass the classroom portion and will have an open track session first thing in the morning. You must be pre-approved in order to participate in this opening session.

Hey Dan,

As I mentioned in a PM, I'll try and make it. I am currently sporing some rather ill-fitting iForged wheels with the stock rubber and I need to see if they would be right for the session.
The other (stock) wheels have the Hoosier A6s on them which I would rather not wear out in one day . I also dont think the stock pads would hold up to A6-level abuse even if traffic permits.

If I can sort out the wheels, I'll be making it. If I can't I'll see if I can borrow a friend's R6s on stock wheels.
