| Banned | Theres one thing that GT has to have this time, cars that actually sound like their real life counterparts. Thats the only thing that gets me upset at GT, the cars all sound the same. I hope they changed that with this version. Any news on that? |

| Silver Member | I have always loved the GT series but I would think that by the 5th installment they would have new tracks instead of the game being centered on new cars same old tracks. Just me though |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2004 Trader Rating: (52) | Yeah it looks like the third one and the 4th one. No damage, no online play, and no "realistic moding" (Whens the last time you've seen a turbo kit go for $90k, lol). Gran turismo lost my buisness once the forza series came out. |

They also only show like the "replay mode" or whatever, which always looks pretty good. I want to see what it looks like the whole time you play the damn game. I was pretty disappointed with how GT4 looked, because the preview vids looked so hot. I'm actually still playing the hell out of it though. Got all the black supercars! The Cusco STi is my fave though! Oh, and my dad's friend has the exact same color TVR Tuscan Speed 6 as in the vid! |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2004 Trader Rating: (4) | Well, i played the prologue edition today at the Motorsports Japan festival in Tokyo (only for 3 minutes though). From the little time i had, it felt like the physics had definitely been stepped up. They wouldn't let me turn off traction control (mostly because i couldn't ask them in japanese how to do it ) so i couldn't really try out the oversteer but turn in, untersteer, etc, all felt really good. I was using the f430 and it actually sounded similar to a real ferrari! That made me very happy since my biggest gripe with the gt series has always been the craptastic engine sounds. It wasn't a final build, so they still have some kinks to work out but overall i thought it was great. I'd save up for a ps3 but im spending all my money on car parts here |
